July Travel

In addition to the trip to Nicaragua and Mexico next week, it looks like I”ll be going to “Croatia”:http://www.croatia.hr/home.php?setlang=en in July. This has been on my list of spots to visit for years now and I’m finally going to get the chance. All of my work will be in “Zagreb”:http://www.croatia.hr/destinations/destination.php?dest=584, but while I’m there I _have_ to see part of the coast, either “Split”:http://www.croatia.hr/destinations/destination.php?dest=206 or “Dubrovnik”:http://www.croatia.hr/destinations/destination.php?dest=45. If I can’t make it to either of those cities, I’ll go wherever I can see water. The Dalmatian Coast is supposed to be one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

Croatia also has quite a number of monistaries which would make good visiting, as would any of the UNESCO “World Heratige”:http://www.croatia.hr/travelguide/index.php?menu=9 sites.

All these links are coming from a single website run by the Croatia National Tourist Board. These guys paid attention both in marketing and web design class. This already demonstrates a level of savvy that seemed drastically missing in some of the other countries I’ve visited.

Phew! I’m going to make 100k miles this year if this keeps up!
