Been playing around with some tools to collect and aggregate news from different sources on the web lately. NewsIsFree.com is one site that is pretty cool. You can customize pages that pull in information from a lot of other sites. Peerkat is another system based on Python that you can run on a local machine to create your own feeds. Supposedly, others can query your peerkat site to pull in your news listings if they want.
