Final Day of Training

Final Day of Training

Today was the last day of the official training. Tomorrow is a graduation ceremony for everyone who participated and then I have to start writing up some policy documents for the Mission. I think the Mission Director is going to come and participate in the graduation ceremony. He has been incredibly supportive of this training and has made a point of asking every day if things are going well and if there is anything he can do to help. He explained that he doesn’t have a big budget to send his staff out of the country for training, but he’s got a great facility to host other people. He also just _enjoys_ having people come and discover Nicaragua. So basically the door is always open during his tenure. You can’t beat that.

After work tomorrow the lot of us are going to one of the local markets to do a little (or in some cases at lot) of shopping. That should be a lot of fun.
